Terms of Service (Website Questionnaire)
Summary: These terms explain the relationship, scope, and expectations for website design/build services initiated through the Website Project Questionnaire.
Important: If you email the generated questionnaire results to us, that action is considered acceptance of these terms.
1. Scope & Deliverables
This questionnaire is intended to gather requirements for a static brochure website (pages, content, and media). The deliverables are based on what is explicitly described in the questionnaire email and any subsequent written agreement.
Out-of-scope requests: Anything not included in the questionnaire email (or later written confirmation) is outside of scope and may be declined or re-quoted at the sole discretion of ColinKnapp and affiliates.
2. Hosting, DNS, and Third-Party Services
Hosting, DNS management, analytics, email services, domains, and third-party integrations may involve external providers. Availability, pricing, performance, and policy changes are controlled by those providers.
If you choose to have us manage DNS/hosting, you authorize us to make reasonable changes required to launch and maintain the site (within the scope of the engagement).
3. SEO & Performance (Results May Vary)
We build with best practices for technical SEO (structure, performance, accessibility, metadata basics) where appropriate.
SEO is an ongoing service: Search visibility and rankings can change over time due to competition, algorithm updates, market behavior, and content changes. Strong SEO outcomes usually require ongoing engagement (monitoring, adjustments, content updates, and iterative improvements).
No guarantees: We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads, or revenue.
4. Fees, Changes, and Renegotiation
Project pricing is based on the declared scope at the time of agreement. If scope changes, additional work may require renegotiated fees to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Additional fees, timelines, and deliverables may be revised during the engagement with client approval, or declined if not feasible.
5. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information, assets you own or have rights to use, and timely feedback. Delays in assets, approvals, or access (domain/DNS/hosting) can affect timelines.
6. Acceptance
Agreement by action: Sending the email generated by the Website Project Questionnaire is considered acceptance of these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree, do not send the questionnaire email.
